MY LIFE HAS BEEN A SONG
Este artigo é baseado nas frases marcantes do Alan e em uma declaração do Vanildo, sujeito simples que trabalhava como caseiro na chácara do meu irmão. Em uma prosa, perguntei-lhe sobre música, e ele me veio com essa “uma pessoa faz uma música sobre um assunto e ela pode encaixar na vida da gente, aí é como se a gente tivesse feito”. Pretendo “encaixar” algumas músicas formando um texto que conta a história, minha e de alguns amigos que vez em quando compartilham algumas vivências e suas citações em músicas. Não adequarei as frases a um sujeito fixo (às vezes eu, ele…) para manter as letras como foram escritas. Chamarei essa série (se pegar) de My Life has been a Song.
Comecemos então com The Logical Song do Supertramp, Baker Street de Gerry Rafferty e Next to Me do Stealers Wheel que ilustram o choque do ritual de passagem da adolescência para a vida adulta.
